Selection Days are part of the Shell StartUp Engine programme. The 2-day sessions are designed to enable selection of startups with innovative solutions and potential to have a significant impact on global critical socio-economic causes to join SSE. During Selection Days, 20 chosen startups which applied for SSE are invited to pitch to an audience from Shell and partners, followed by a segment of Q&A.

Your feedback and advice will be critical in helping the Selection Panel select the next cohort for the programme. The selection panel will make the final decision and all participants will be notified of the outcome.

What are Selection Days?

You should have received a calendar invite to join Selection Days. Within the invite, there will be a Zoom link. You can also access the meeting link from your mentor dashboard. Simply click on the link, and you will be able to join via the Zoom app installed on your computer or via the browser version (no download required). If you’re joining as a mentor, please provide your rating for the startups via the “Add Startup Feedback” button on your mentor dashboard.

How do I join the Selection Days sessions?

Simply email contact@startupbootcamp.com.au and we will look at fixing this for you.

What should I do if I have technical issues?

They will take place on Monday 13th June and Wednesday 15th June 2022. All times are CEST. You will have slightly different start and end times depending on whether you are an external ecosystem mentor, partner mentor or part of the Selection Panel.

Session 1: Monday 13th June, 12.45pm - 5.30pm

Session 2: Wednesday 13th June, 12.45pm - 5.30pm

In order to meet the majority/all of the startups, we encourage you to join both Selection Days sessions if you are available.

When are the Selection Days?

Please log in to your mentor dashboard by clicking the button in the top right corner of this page. To log in you will be emailed a verification link. Simply click that link in your inbox and you will be sent to your mentor dashboard! The startup rating form can be accessed from there.

How do I access the Startup Rating form?

If you’re a start-up, you will be notified of the outcome the following week. Feedback on your startup will also be shared with you to help you improve. If you’re a mentor of the programme, you will be contacted by Startupbootcamp on the next steps. If you will like to get in touch with the startups or have specific questions, please email 

What’s the next step after Selection Day?

Each startup will pitch, followed by approximately 15 minutes of questions from the mentors. A Startupbootcamp member will act as a host, and facilitate discussion in your room.

After each startup pitch and round of questions, there will be a 4 minute break for you to fill in the assessment form.
