About Green Mining

The problem we're solving:

Recyclable material represents 1/3 of the generation of waste in a city, but the world recycles less than 10% of its potential. Most of the local workforce in the collection is unregulated, often exploited, and in poverty.

Our solution:

A unique system that treats sales data with a unique algorithm to identify large volumes of post-consumer packaging generation. Green Mining hires waste pickers to enable the consumer packaged goods industry to fulfil its environmental role with 100% labour compliance.

Our differentiator:

In the past three years they have collected over 4.6 thousand tons of waste, which went to recycling. With clients on B2B such as AB InBev and Starbucks, they launched a new B2C/D2C offer with collection points, and acquired over 1300 users in the first 3 months of launch.
