About Bee2Be

The problem we're solving:

Bee2Be addresses the decline of pollinators, biodiversity loss, and economic challenges faced by rural communities. Through assisted pollination with bees, it enhances ecosystem restoration, boosts agricultural productivity, and creates sustainable income for local populations—offering a scalable, nature-based solution aligned with ESG and climate goals.

Our solution:

By installing beehives in strategic areas, the startup promotes biodiversity, supports sustainable farming, and empowers local communities through apiculture training and income generation. Their impact is measured through ESG-aligned metrics and continuous monitoring.

Our differentiator:

Bee2Be uniquely combines environmental restoration with social impact by using bees to regenerate ecosystems while empowering local communities. Unlike conventional solutions, it integrates biodiversity recovery with income generation through apiculture, offering a dual-impact model that is both scalable and aligned with ESG goals.

Our biggest achievement:

Bee2Be has preserved over 87 million bees, impacted more than 140 families, and was selected for TotalEnergies’ open innovation program. It was also recognized by the Meaningful Business 100 and Sitawi Finance for Good, and featured at key forums such as TEDxSalvador and Web Summit Rio.
