About AeroFlux
The problem we're solving:
Shipping must decarbonize fast, yet green energy is costly, intermittent and not always available at sea. Many low-carbon alternatives demand disruptive, capital-heavy retrofits. Solvent-based carbon capture is bulky, toxic and power-hungry, so it won’t fit most vessels or space-constrained industrial sites. Operators need a compact, safe, energy-efficient option that can be retrofitted without interrupting day-to-day operations. Our solution:
AeroFlux has developed a patented membrane-based CO2 capture system, designed like an “air purifier” for ships. Fully electric, modular, and chemical-free, it is compact enough to retrofit onto vessels and industrial sites without disrupting operations. Beyond capture, AeroFlux offers a turnkey service that manages transport, storage, and carbon accounting, easing the path to practical decarbonization. Our differentiator:
A next-gen membrane achieves up to 90% capture and >98% CO2 purity with 10× packing density, delivering commercially viable performance at sea. Compact modules fit tight spaces, avoid steam utilities and cut energy use, simplifying installation and operations. The integrated model removes technical and logistical burden for owners, enabling practical, low-cost decarbonization across space-constrained fleets. Our biggest achievement:
AeroFlux secured letters of support from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) Asia Oceania, Kuok Maritime Group and Pertamina International Shipping to pilot the technology—providing engineering expertise, test fuel and early financial backing. The company is now in strategic investment discussions with partners to commission its pilot project and pave the way for scaled deployment.Disclaimer:
