Anthony Harte

Anthony is Head of Social Performance, UK and leads the Social Investment and Social Performance teams to address pressing social challenges. Anthony is also responsible for managing a new social impact commitment, "Generation Net Zero" to deploy £100m to power lives through jobs and skills in the UK with a focus on the energy transtion.

Prior to joining Shell in 2021, he spent 16 years in Investment Banking, helping organisations effectively broaden and deepen their social commitments to create social, economic and environmental outcomes. His most recent role at Bank of America included creating new forms of financial models to drive social outcomes, including several social impact bonds transactions, a blended finance fund and the first gender lens investment in region.

Anthony sits on a range of not-for-profit boards and has been recognised for his contributions to ESG and Diversity and Inclusion with several industry awards, including the Lord Mayor’s Heart of the City Award.
