About Racha:

Racha Assaf is an experienced leader in the energy transition, with close to 15 years of experience working for Shell in various international postings across Canada, the UK and Iraq. Racha is currently the CCS Centre of Excellence Manager, where she coordinates global commercial and digital initiatives that support the maturation of CCS projects.
Previously, Racha worked as project and process engineer and has a proven track record in commercializing and delivering complex green energy projects, such as carbon capture and storage and flare reduction projects - having direct positive impacts on the environment and on people’s lives. She is an active ambassador for female empowerment. Racha holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, as well as a Master’s in Industrial Engineering / Project Management from Polytechnique. Racha also graduated with an Executive MBA from London Business School in 2022 with a special focus on executing strategic corporate turnarounds.
