About João Pedro:

I am a lawyer specializing in the electric power and infrastructure sectors, with extensive experience in regulatory and transactional matters in Brazil and abroad. I serve as a partner in the electric power practice of Lobo de Rizzo Advogados, a full-service law firm based in São Paulo.

I have extensive experience in the energy generation and commercialization segments, including the structuring of self-generation projects, the development of distributed and centralized generation projects (wind and solar), and energy import/export.

My practice also includes project structuring, bidding processes, and public/regulated contracts, government relations, mergers and acquisitions, and advising on disputes in the administrative, judicial, and arbitration spheres. I am a member of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law (IBDE).

I hold a Master's degree in Public Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation Law School (FGV-SP); I hold a specialization in Business Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-RJ), and in Civil Procedural Law from the Bahian School of Law. and a law degree from the Catholic University of Salvador.
