About Eli:
Eli Gomes started working for Shell in 2010 in management of projects for Exploration and Production field development for the pre-salt of the Santos Basin. He has also worked in the engineering and project management of mature fields in one of Shell's E&P assets in Kazakhstan and in the offshore production and operation of Shell Brazil. In 2021, he started to manage Shell Brazil's Technology research, development and innovation projects, working with universities, start-ups and companies in Brazil and abroad in the areas of offshore decarbonization and FPSO optimization. He holds a PhD from Cranfield University in the UK, a master's and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
