About Augusto:

Augusto Sales has a diverse background, with significant experience as Partner at KPMG and now contributing academically and entrepreneurially at FGV. His time at KPMG was marked by the development of the firm's Global Strategy practice in Brazil, extending its footprint across LATAM markets, and handling numerous international consulting projects. He holds a Doctorate from Rennes School of Business and Master's degrees from Georgetown University and FGV EBAPE, credentials that cement his expertise.

In his current role, Augusto emphasizes social impact, demonstrated through his work with the Inter-American Development Bank and his angel investments, including a notable venture with Alterbank, a digital crypto bank later acquired by Méliuz. At FGV EBAPE, he leads the Venture Lab, assisting new entrepreneurs in the initial stages of their startups. His research on Niklas Luhmann's social systems theory are central to his approach in in both academic and business environments.
